What a thing of beauty
A Rainbow is to see
A sight of love and comfort
He gives to you and me

They never are expected
Appearing as they please
Their message is eternal
Meant to put you soul at ease

Their colours are remarkable
They’ll take your breath away
The brilliant hues reminding
That today’s another day

It’s a gift that we are given
To show we all are rare
Our place is to receive this love
Then spread it here and there

So see this gift of beauty
With open hearts and eyes
Remembering as you do so
That this promise never dies
